Indoor cycling (aka spinning) at Samahita happens directly at the beach and is a fun, mega cardio, fat burning, sweat pumping, fitness building workout. You don’t need experience, just your desire to ride. Fortunately, you adjust the resistance and manage your intensity.

Our cycle classes are part of Samahita’s integrated fitness approach. In the morning we offer a self-silent-cycle while in the afternoon it’s a music-infused upbeat ride, either as its own class, before or after Core, or part of a circuit training integrated fitness session where you’ll workout on the bike and with core and strength-based routines.
We deliver a mixture of dedicated or integrated classes, combining different formats. Our favorite format is typically one that follows H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training) principles, where each participant determines their own level of intensity. Beginning with a light warm-up, progressing through alternating high and low intervals, and winding down with a yoga-inspired cool-down. Raise your energy level and joy quotient with a fantastic workout.
The Morning Self-Silent-Cycle Class
It’s early morning. The sun has risen. All is calm and beautiful at the beach. The cycle studio is open with the morning breeze blowing in. You can arrive on your own time, taking the full 30-minutes or as little as 5-minutes. Time, pace, and routine is all up to you. This self-led indoor cycling class is the first daily activity offered on our schedule, in a silent setting looking out at the beautiful morning sea. Tune into your breath or the sounds of nature and enjoy this golden opportunity to stay in the present moment. You will leave feeling energized and ready to start your day, flowing right into the next class of breath and meditation on the beach yoga shala.
The Afternoon Music-Infused HIIT Cycle Class
The afternoon cycle class is guided by one of our team at Samahita. It is an innovative, beat-based ride designed to build leg strength and power while improving cardiovascular fitness. HIIT takes you up and then lets you coast till you’re back at the intensity again. Of course, if you like a gentle long ride that’s possible too. Either way, Music makes it Fun!! As part of Samahita’s integrated fitness approach the afternoon cycle class varies day-to-day, either as its own class, before or after Core, or part of a circuit training with core and strengthening. Either way, you’re on the bike up to two times a day. Do one, do both, or take a break, it’s all up to you.
