This 8 day yoga retreat will focus on cultivating genuine awareness of the self and giving back to the community by means of service at a local elephant sanctuary.
We will start each day in quiet contemplation before our active practice. The morning asana practice will be invigorating and challenging while the evening classes will be more focused on restoring the body after a day full of experience.
The style of yoga taught in the morning is influenced heavily by the Ashtanga yoga system but not exclusive to. We will look at alignment principles and variations dependent on the individual’s needs. We create a space for each person to seek out what is best for themselves. During the evening sessions, we will teach a blend of restorative and yin principles that perfectly complement each other.
This retreat will be an opportunity to slow down, look within and find peace. Your days will be sprinkled with time for self care and restoration of the self.
